A divan bed pairs a sturdy upholstered base with a separate headboard, giving you a low-profile, quiet and exceptionally stable bed. Ours are made to order in West Yorkshire and finished in plush velvet.

Drawer storage or lift-up storage?

Drawer divans give you two or four pull-out drawers — quick daily access for bedding and clothes, though you need clearance at the side of the bed. Lift-up ottoman divans open the whole base on gas pistons, giving far more capacity and needing no side clearance, which makes them the better choice in a tight room.

All divans take a standard UK mattress and are available with a matching headboard. Prices start at £249.99.
