A super king mattress is 180cm wide and 200cm long. The frame itself sits roughly 10–15cm larger in each direction, so allow around 195 × 215cm of floor for the bed alone.
What room size do you need for a super king bed?
Keep 60cm of clear walkway on every open side. With a frame footprint of about 195 × 215cm, that means a room of at least 3.15m × 2.75m if the bed sits against one wall with both sides open. In a smaller room, a king will feel better than a cramped super king.

Super king vs king: the honest difference
Length is identical at 200cm, so height is not the deciding factor — width is. The extra 30cm on a super king is the difference between 75cm and 90cm each, and 90cm is the width of a full single bed per person. If either of you sleeps restlessly, that gap is far more noticeable than the price difference suggests.
