Monzar Chesterfield Ottoman Bed Frame
The Monzar Chesterfield Ottoman Bed Frame is a handmade upholstered storage bed with a 50-inch buttoned Chesterfield headboard. The full mattress platform lifts on gas struts for storage across the whole footprint of the bed.
Who it suits
The Chesterfield option at 50 inches - four inches shorter than our 54-inch frames, which makes it easier to live with under standard 2.4m ceilings while still reading as a statement. Its plain-panelled sibling at the same height is the Leno'r; if you want a Chesterfield taller still, see the 54-inch Florenza. Buttoned upholstery collects dust in the recesses, so it wants an occasional vacuum with a brush attachment.

Fabric and upholstery
Hand-upholstered and hand-buttoned in your choice of Plush (short-pile velvet, which shows the buttoning most strongly because the pile catches light in the folds), Naple (flatter woven finish) or Conniston (heavier textured weave).
Mattress compatibility
Takes any standard UK mattress in the matching size. A mattress is not included, and mattress upgrades are available. See our mattress range.
Storage
The platform lifts as one piece over an uninterrupted cavity, so long items fit whole rather than being split between drawers.
Assembly
Easy flat-pack assembly with instructions included. One to two hours with two people; two are needed for the gas struts. See the assembly guide.
