The Florenza Chesterfield Ottoman Bed is a handmade upholstered storage bed frame in the Chesterfield style, built around a 54-inch floor-standing headboard. The whole mattress platform lifts on gas struts, turning the full footprint of the bed into storage.
Who it suits
This is the Chesterfield option among our four 54-inch frames - the others being Capri, Amalfain and Bellagior, which are all plainer. Choose the Florenza if you want the traditional Chesterfield character on a headboard of that height, and note that it is also the lowest-priced of the four. All four share the same headboard height and the same storage capacity, so the decision is the styling in the photographs.

Fabric and upholstery
Hand-upholstered in your choice of Plush (short-pile velvet, which shows the Chesterfield detailing most strongly because the pile catches light at different angles), Naple (flatter woven finish) or Conniston (heavier textured weave).
Mattress compatibility
Takes any standard UK mattress in the matching size. A mattress is not included. See our mattress range.
Storage
The platform lifts as one piece over an uninterrupted cavity, so long items fit whole. Check the ceiling height above the headboard before ordering and allow clearance for the platform to rise.
Assembly
Arrives flat-packed with fittings and instructions. One to two hours with two people; two are needed for the gas struts. See the assembly guide.
