Royal Luxe Ottoman Storage Bed
The Royal Luxe Ottoman Storage Bed has a generously padded headboard and clean, regal lines that make it the anchor of the room. Beneath the mattress platform, a full-length gas-lift compartment takes duvets, luggage and out-of-season clothes without claiming a centimetre of floor space.
Who it suits
One of our best-value frames, and a sensible default if you are buying your first ottoman bed. The styling is generous without being loud, so it suits most rooms and most schemes rather than demanding a particular one. If you want a bolder feature - a 54-inch headboard, buttoning, a winged shape - we make all of those, but they cost more and commit you to a look.

Mattress platform sizes are standard UK:
- Single - 90cm wide x 190cm long (3ft x 6ft3)
- Small Double - 120cm wide x 190cm long (4ft x 6ft3)
- Double - 135cm wide x 190cm long (4ft6 x 6ft3)
- King - 150cm wide x 200cm long (5ft x 6ft6)
- Super King - 180cm wide x 200cm long (6ft x 6ft6)

Fabric and upholstery
Upholstered by hand and finished so that no stitching is visible anywhere on the bed upholstery. Choose Plush (short-pile velvet), Naple (flatter woven finish) or Conniston (heavier textured weave).
Mattress compatibility
Takes any standard UK mattress in the matching size. A mattress is not included. See our mattress range.
Storage
The platform lifts as one piece over an uninterrupted cavity, so long items fit whole rather than being split between drawers.
Assembly
Delivered flat-packed with all fittings and clear instructions. One to two hours with two people; two are needed for the gas struts. See the assembly guide.
