The Luxury Panel TV Bed is the flagship of our TV bed range - a cleanly panelled plush velvet frame with an electric television lift built into the footboard. Press the remote and the TV rises silently into view; press again and it disappears completely, leaving an upholstered bed. Storage is built into the frame alongside the lift housing.
Who it suits
For bedrooms where you want a television but not a television on show. The panelled headboard is the contemporary option in this range - the Chesterfield TV Bed is the same mechanism in deep-buttoned traditional styling at the same price. Two practical points before you commit: measure your own television against the lift housing specification, because the housing is built to fixed internal dimensions; and note that a TV bed needs clear space at the foot for the screen to rise.

Available in the larger UK sizes, because the footboard lift mechanism needs the width:

Fabric and upholstery
Upholstered by hand and finished so that no stitching is visible anywhere on the bed upholstery. Choose Plush (short-pile velvet), Naple (flatter woven finish) or Conniston (heavier textured weave).
Mattress compatibility
Takes any standard UK mattress in the matching size. A mattress is not included. Mattress depth matters more on a TV bed than on an ordinary frame - a very deep mattress can sit above the footboard line and interrupt the screen. See our mattress range.
Storage
Storage is built into the frame around the lift housing, so the capacity is smaller than on a full ottoman bed - the mechanism occupies part of the base. If storage volume is the priority rather than the television, our ottoman beds give you the whole footprint.
Assembly
Handmade to order and delivered flat-packed. The lift mechanism requires careful assembly with two people, and needs a mains socket within reach of the footboard.
