The Kensington Classic Ottoman Bed is a handmade upholstered storage bed frame with traditional tailoring and clean piped edges - built to look right in ten years rather than just this season. The full platform lifts on gas struts, with two-finger opening.
Who it suits
The frame to choose if you do not want the bed to date. The tailoring is conventional and the piping keeps the edges crisp, so it reads as furniture rather than as a trend. It is among our most affordable ottoman frames, which makes it a sensible guest room or first-home choice. The light two-finger lift also suits anyone who will open the storage often, or who would find a heavier platform difficult.

Fabric and upholstery
Hand-upholstered in your choice of Plush (short-pile velvet), Naple (flatter woven finish) or Conniston (heavier textured weave). The piped edging is picked out in the same fabric.
Mattress compatibility
Takes any standard UK mattress in the matching size. A mattress is not included. A lighter or medium-weight mattress keeps the two-finger lift as light as intended. See our mattress range.
