Grand Palace Ottoman Bed
The Grand Palace Ottoman Bed is the largest frame we make - an oversized, deeply padded headboard on the grandest scale in the range, with a full gas-lift storage base underneath. It is built for master bedrooms with the wall space to carry it.
Who it suits
Only choose this if you have measured the wall. It is our most expensive frame, but for scale rather than finishing - our Elite Harmony is the more finely finished bed of the two. The Grand Palace suits king and super king best; on a double the proportions look top-heavy, and in a room with standard 2.4m ceilings an oversized headboard can close the space in rather than open it up. If you love the look but the room is average-sized, one of our 54-inch frames gives you presence at less scale.

Fabric and upholstery
Upholstered by hand and finished so that no stitching is visible anywhere on the bed upholstery - on a headboard this large that is the difference between one clean expanse of fabric and a panel visibly divided by seams. Choose Plush (short-pile velvet), Naple (flatter woven finish) or Conniston (heavier textured weave).
Mattress compatibility
Takes any standard UK mattress in the matching size. A mattress is not included. See our mattress range.
Storage
The platform lifts as one piece over an uninterrupted cavity - at king and super king this is the largest storage volume in our range.
Assembly
Arrives flat-packed. One to two hours with two people; two are needed for the gas struts, and this frame is the heaviest to manoeuvre. Check your doorway and stair access first.
