The Aurelia Floor-to-Ceiling Panel Bed has an extra-tall vertical channel headboard that extends towards the ceiling, paired with a matching padded panel footboard. Handmade in our West Yorkshire workshop in soft-touch velvet, with an optional gas-lift ottoman storage version.
Who it suits
This is a hotel-suite headboard, and it needs the wall height to work. Measure before you order: a floor-to-ceiling panel in a room with standard 2.4m ceilings will fill the wall completely, which is the intended effect but not to everyone's taste. It also needs to be the only tall thing on that wall. Our Elite Crown gives similar vertical panelling at a more moderate height in cream; the Royal Crest is the channel-tufted alternative.

Mattress platform sizes are standard UK:
- Single - 90cm wide x 190cm long (3ft x 6ft3)
- Small Double - 120cm wide x 190cm long (4ft x 6ft3)
- Double - 135cm wide x 190cm long (4ft6 x 6ft3)
- King - 150cm wide x 200cm long (5ft x 6ft6)
- Super King - 180cm wide x 200cm long (6ft x 6ft6)

Fabric and upholstery
Hand-upholstered in your choice of Plush (short-pile velvet, which shows the vertical channels most strongly because the pile catches light differently down each channel), Naple (flatter woven finish) or Conniston (heavier textured weave).
Mattress compatibility
Takes any standard UK mattress in the matching size. A mattress is not included. See our mattress range.
Storage
The standard frame has no under-bed storage. Choose the gas-lift ottoman version and the whole mattress platform lifts, giving storage across the full footprint of the bed. If storage is the main priority, our ottoman beds start considerably lower.
Assembly
Easy flat-pack assembly with fitting instructions included. Two people recommended given the headboard height, and genuinely required if you order the gas-lift version.
