Artisan Handmade Ottoman Bed
The Artisan Handmade Ottoman Bed is a hand-upholstered storage bed frame with a softly squared headboard and clean tailored lines. The full-length platform lifts on gas struts with two fingers, opening a compartment roughly the size of eight large storage boxes.
Who it suits
This is the frame for someone who wants the hand-finished look to be the point. The softly squared headboard is quieter than our panelled and buttoned designs, so it suits a room where the bed should feel considered rather than commanding. The light two-finger opening also makes it a sensible pick if you will be lifting the platform often, or if the person using the room would struggle with a heavier mechanism.

Fabric and upholstery
Upholstered by hand, and finished so that no stitching is visible anywhere on the bed upholstery - the panels read as continuous surfaces rather than seamed sections. Choose Plush (short-pile velvet with a soft sheen), Naple (flatter woven finish) or Conniston (heavier textured weave).
Mattress compatibility
Takes any standard UK mattress in the matching size. A mattress is not included. Lighter and medium-weight mattresses keep the two-finger lift as light as intended. Browse our mattresses.
Storage

Assembly
